The Merchant

Like many elements of our downtown Portland hotel, The Merchant has a story to share. In fact, this small local business has been hidden in plain sight as a fixture of the Oregon Pioneer Building in one form or another for decades. Adapting to the needs of its patrons, The Merchant today offers our guests a variety of Portland-made wares, crafts, and culinary delights. Swing by to pick up bath products, a Portland-made t-shirt, a piece of local art or jewelry, or some other unique item to take home. Several local craft beers, wines, artisanal sodas, and snacks are also available.
