You'll first take notice of the high-end and refined elements: custom hand-painted wallpaper that lines the entryway; quality Pendleton Woolen Mills accent pillows crafted locally in Portland; a line of luxury bath products for our guests; and radiant heated flooring beneath your feet. Then you will notice the use of raw materials to balance out the high-end: locally milled reclaimed barn wood that brings the rugged beauty of Oregon indoors; concrete beams, pillars, and walls which have been incorporated seamlessly into the design; and other architectural features of the building’s original workmanship, left in place for your wandering eye to find.
Altogether, this balance of opposites creates a beautiful organic tension, bathed in an abundance of natural light streaming through oversized windows. This is your stay at our Portland hotel, where our rooms and suites offer sanctuary from modern bustle and distractions.
As always, the health and well-being of both our guests and employees is our top priority, and we are going above and beyond to be prepared in response to COVID-19. An updated sanitation procedural plan was developed in coordination with the hotel brand standards and sanitation vendor to focus on high-frequency touchpoints. Remote controls are sanitized and placed into a sealed sanitation bag. A guest door seal is placed onto the exterior of the door and frame to indicate to guests that their room has not been accessed since being sanitized.

Our Guest Room provides all the comforts of home with a Portland vibe and a little extra space with a seating area. The entryway features hand-painted wallpaper, while the bathroom treats you to a curated collection of luxury bath amenities.
Deluxe Double/Double
A harmonious composition of refined and human elements, these rooms feature city views, two double beds with Pendleton Woolen Mills accent pillows, surrounded by locally hand-painted wallpaper, custom artwork, concrete and reclaimed wood walls, and radiant heated flooring.
Deluxe King
Our Deluxe King rooms provide all the comforts of home with a Portland vibe, views of the city, and a comfy couch. The entryway features hand-painted wallpaper, while the bathroom treats you to a curated collection of luxury bath amenities.
Premium Double/Double
Making ordinary stays exceptional, these Premium rooms portray the comforts of home with Portland flair. Located on the top floors, they impress all who enter with custom hand-painted wallpaper, a reclaimed wood wall, concrete walls and beams, radiant heated floors and original artwork.
Premium King
Our Premium King rooms create an unexpected tailored experience and include premium high floor locations with city views. Enhanced by oversized windows ushering in plenty of natural light and corresponding views, these spaces feature a King bed and section sofa with wall-mounted reading lamps, alongside the many exceptionally curated amenities that make our hotel synonymous with Portland luxury.

Parlor Suite
Our Parlor Suite is a single corner suite located on the sixth floor with sweeping views of downtown Portland, a stylish vibe, and the option to reserve additional connecting rooms for larger groups and events. This suite configuration with connecting rooms is available for reservation by contacting the front desk at info@hi-lo-hotel.com.
Connecting Rooms
For larger groups, guests can request access to three additional guest rooms from our Parlor Suite, including a connecting King and Double Double Guest Room.
